Mitchell to Demonstrate Program Freedom This Week

Jan. 15, 2018

Program Freedom, Mitchell’s new cloud-based estimating and communications platform, will be demonstrated for industry stakeholders to get a hands-on experience with the technology.

Jan.15, 2018—Program Freedom, Mitchell’s new cloud-based estimating and communications platform, will be demonstrated on Jan. 17 at the Program Freedom Experience in Palm Spring, Calif..

The event will give industry stakeholders a hands-on experience with the technology. The program is built to handle the the challenges facing the collision industry today such as increased vehicle complexity, use of advanced technology and the frequency and severity of accidents.

For collision repair facilities, Program Freedom allows for continued open choice among applications and services without the limitations of proprietary protocols and closed data networks. Repairer facilities can choose to share data via EMS or BMS, and which data fields are shared with each partner. The data exchange occurs without adding new transaction fees.

For carriers, Program Freedom allows repair networks to operate more flexibly and cost effectively—offering an open choice of business partners, such as parts sourcing and procurement networks. Claims repaired by out-of-network repair facilities without a full Mitchell subscription are processed on a per-estimate basis, allowing for cost effective claims workflow on a highly efficient platform.

It’s based on Mitchell Cloud Estimating, the company’s new cloud-based estimating and communications platform. Mitchell’s Program Freedom Experience will be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center and is open to Mitchell partners, customers and those attending the Collision Industry Conference Annual Meeting.
