Gerber Acquires Small MSO in Ohio

Dec. 20, 2017

The acquisition increases Gerber Collision and Glass's presence in Ohio by 50 percent.

Dec.20, 2017—The Boyd Group, who owns Gerber Collision and Glass, acquired a three-location MSO in the west side suburbs of Cleveland.

The centers were previously Suburban Collision Centers, with locations in North Olmsted and Berea, both suburbs in Cuyahoga county, the second largest county in Cleveland.

All three locations are within five miles of each other and are less than seven miles west of Cleveland’s international airport.

"The opening of these three locations increases our presence by 50 percent in the Greater Cleveland area and allows us to serve new customers and our insurance partners west of the city," says Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group.
