ASRW announces 2011 event dates

Sept. 8, 2010

September 8, 2010—Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) announced Wednesday that its 2011 event will be held Oct. 17-19 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

ASRW includes the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE), the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS), Auto Glass Week and the Automotive Service Councils of California (ASCCA).

"In a year filled with changes in the automotive industry, we feel it's important everyone knows ASRW, NACE and CARS are here to stay," said Ron Pyle, president and chief staff executive of the Automotive Service Association (ASA).

ASRW will remain separate from other industry events in 2011, according to ASRW.

"ASRW provides such a tremendous value to all its participants, and we feel this event deserves its own week," said Pyle. "NACE and CARS have a long-standing history as successful, standalone events, and we are confident the 2010 and 2011 events will be no exceptions."

ASRW 2010 is scheduled for Oct. 11-13, also at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
