March 28, 2013—USA Collision Centers will host its “Bleed, Bark and Wash for a Cure” community day April 6 at its Fairfield, Ohio, shop location.
The event will raise money for the Hoxworth Blood Center, the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA-Cincinnati) and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
At the event, Hoxworth will have its “Blood Mobile” onsite to accept blood donations, SPCA-Cincinnati will have its mobile adoption unit set up to adopt household pets, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Woman of the Year” candidate Erica Steinbeck and her team will be present to wash cars and take donations.
“Everyone is encouraged to stop by and spend the day with us” said Joe Sanfillipo III, CEO of USA Collision Centers. “We wanted a way to do something fun for the community and give back to some of our favorite organizations all at the same time.”
This is the first year that USA Collision Centers is hosting the event, which was inspired by Sanfillipo’s late wife who died from leukemia.
