Axalta Hosts Grand Opening of Customer Experience Center

The center boasts two paint application centers, a collaborative mixing lab and an exhibit lobby where visitors can learn about Axalta’s coating systems and technology.

May 17, 2017—Axalta hosted a press conference and offered tours of its new Customer Experience Center on May 16, 2017.

The Customer Experience Center is a 36,000-square-foot training and conference complex designed to serve Axalta’s refinish, transportation OEM and industrial customers.

The Customer Experience Center boasts two paint application centers, a collaborative mixing lab and an exhibit lobby where visitors can learn about Axalta’s coating systems and technology. The facility is located on the Hendrick Motorsports campus.

Charlie Shaver, Axalta chairman and CEO, and Michael Carr, Axalta president of North America, officiated with scheduled special guests Jeff Gordon, four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, and Rick Hendrick, owner of 12-time Cup champions Hendrick Motorsports.

Highlights of the center include an interactive lobby experience, learning center, collaborative color lab, paint technology center and meeting rooms to host both local and virtual meetings.
