NACE helps raise funds for I-CAR Education Foundation

June 30, 2010

June 30, 2010—Industry professionals who register online to attend the upcoming NACE event will be able to make donations to the I-CAR Education Foundation, according to an I-CAR press release_notes.

The donations will help support collision repair schools and fund student scholarships and other programs, such as the “Ultimate Collision Makeover” grant.

Donations are tax-deductible and can be made in $5, $10, $25 and $50 increments. Those who pledge $50 will be given a 2010/I-CAR Education Foundation technician shirt at the NACE event.

“NACE is providing attendees with a great opportunity to help the future of the [collision repair] industry,” said Scott Kruger, executive director of the foundation. “Every donation amount will help the Education Foundation’s efforts to support automotive collision students and instructors. We would like to thank NACE for this effort and I look forward to NACE 2010 where we can showcase the donation results to the industry as an investment into their own future.”
