N.Y. Body Shop Celebrates Women in Leadership

March 20, 2017

March 20, 2017—Barry’s Auto Body of Staten Island, NY, co-owned by Michelle Crupi, recently released a video on its YouTube channel that’s meant to celebrate females in the auto industry.

With that theme in mind, Barry’s Auto Body released an educational video in which a married couple struggle with various auto repair issues. The “Donna” character featured in the video is a composite of the strong female clientele that the New York shop typically deals with, as well as the women who lead the shop’s repair team.

Barry’s Auto Body’s owners plan to release more such videos throughout the year.

“We developed the ‘I Gotta Guy’ video series because we wanted to educate our customers about how to handle different car repair problems,” noted Barry Crupi, co-owner of Barry’s Auto Body. “We wrote the script so that the characters would mimic what we see in the shop almost every day. People who think that car repair is a man’s world are living in the past.”
