I-CAR names 2010 board of directors

Feb. 15, 2010--I-CAR named its 2010 international board of directors and executive committee.

The following people have been named to the executive committee: Tom Moreland of AkzoNobel as chairman; Elise Quadrozzi of Crawford & Company as vice chairman; Dustin Womble of Roger Beasley Collision Center for Society of Collision Repair Specialists as secretary; Bob Keith of CARSTAR as treasurer; Robby Robbs of NuCon Services Inc. as immediate past chairman; Bruce Bares of Hi-Tech Collision & Glass Centers as member-at-large; and William Brower of Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. as member-at-large.

Other people named to the international board of directors include: Farzam Afshar of Verifacts Automotive; Terry W. Angell of Warren Tech; Rollie Benjamin of ABRA Auto Body & Glass; Bruce Cooley of DuPont Performance Coatings, Inc.; William DeGrocco of GEICO Insurance; Ronald Doerr of General Motors Corp.; Chris Evans of State Farm Insurance; David Henderson of See Progress Inc.; Joseph Laurentino of Esurance; John Norton of Ford Motor Co.; Sam Pezzullo of State Farm Insurance; Greg Potter of Dearborn Group Technology for Equipment & Tool Institute; Monica Rivers of BMW of North America,; Mike Schoonover of Schoonover Bodyworks for Automotive Service Association; and James Spears of USAA.

The board of directors sets the overall strategic direction for the organization, according to I-CAR. The board of directors is comprised of representatives from the collision repair, insurance, equipment and tools, education, training and research, and vehicle manufacturing industries.
