Jan. 26, 2017—The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) provided assistance to an employee of Greenbrier Collision Center in West Virginia, after her home was devastated by a flood.
True to its mission of 'Bringing Awareness and Emergency Relief to Collision Repair Professionals', CIF was looking to help out. Lori Honaker, the Greenbrier Collision Center employee, filled out a CIF application for assistance, sharing, "Lost everything except a place to live, but it is badly damaged/destroyed. Anything will help to get us back up."
The Executive Board of CIF reviewed the situation and granted Honaker $2,573 to replace her lost items.
"That's what CIF is all about, helping those within the collision industry that have experienced a catastrophic life event," said CIF chairman Bill Shaw.
