Jan. 20, 2017

Jan. 20, 2017—The National Auto Body Council announced on Thursday that during its annual golf fundraiser in Palm Springs, Calif., a mother and her three-year-old daughter were presented with a refurbished vehicle filled with toys and gifts.

The vehicle donation was provided by the Hertz Corporation and refurbished by Fix Auto Cathedral City.

Nearly 1,300 vehicles worth almost $17 million have been donated through the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program since 2007.

Proceeds from the Palm Springs Golf Fundraiser will support other NABC program initiatives including First Responder Emergency Extrication (FREE) and the Distracted Driving initiative.
