Cummins Denies Use of FCA Defeat Devices

Jan. 13, 2017—Following the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) accusation against FCA on Thursday, Cummins Inc. stated that it does not supply engines for the FCA vehicles that are discussed in the EPA’s Notice of Violation, nor was Cummins named.

Cummins also stated that it does not use defeat devices and is committed to meeting emissions standards.
