NABC Announces Body Shop Image Award Winner

Nov. 21, 2013

Nov. 21, 2013—The National Auto Body Council (NABC) recently selected Dave’s Auto Body Co. in Omaha, Neb., as the recipient of the organization’s 2013 Body Shop Image Award.

The NABC Body Shop Image Award recognizes collision repair facilities that have had a beneficial impact on their communities through building and design improvements. The award embodies the spirit and mission of the NABC to promote the image of the collision repair industry and become a vital asset to the neighborhood.

According to Kent Seavey, chair of the NABC Awards program, the selection committee chose Dave’s Auto Body as this year’s winner based on the complete floor-to-ceiling transformation of the facility’s interior and exterior spaces, including improvements such as landscaping around the building and parking areas located on city property.

“We commend Mark Schumacher of Dave’s Auto Body Co. for his vision and goal to create a functional and visually positive physical environment that benefits not only their customers and employees but the community as well,” said Seavey.

Runners-up for the award were Cook’s Collision Inc. in Walnut Creek, Calif., and Car West Auto Body in San Jose, Calif.
