Sept. 15, 2016—The Auto Care Association (ACA) announced Wednesday that the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) has joined the Auto Care Careers Industry Job Board Network.

“The industry collaboration makes this job board platform the largest in the auto care industry,” Bill Hanvey, ACA president and CEO, said. “Collaborating with SCRS allows for more participation from the collision community both from the employer and job seeker perspective.”

The industry job board is an online resource for both applicants and employers, designed to be a central hub where job seekers and creators can connect. The job board lists hundreds of positions in all aspects of the auto care industry.

"The shortage of emerging technical staff entering our field is one of the greatest challenges facing our industry," Andy Dingman, SCRS chairman, said. "It's important to us at SCRS to recognize new entrants in this industry and to help make them aware of the expansive career opportunities that exist for them in our field. Most importantly, it’s a priority for us to connect them with our members’ businesses who are actively looking for new talent. We want to do everything possible to make sure that hard-working young technicians find their way to a rewarding career in the industry."
