Axalta Announces Participation in Goodguys Colorado Nationals

Sept. 2, 2015

Sept. 2, 2015—Axalta Coating Systems will participate in the Goodguys 18th Colorado Nationals at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colo., Sept. 11-13.

Axalta representatives will offer show attendees examples of automotive art created with Axalta paint including Cromax, Standox, and Spies Hecker, as well as the Hot Hues line of custom colors.

While there, Axalta will promote its 2015 Paint Outside the Can contest, a contest the company has been promoting at its events throughout the summer. The contest invites participants to use any Axalta-branded coating system to paint and decorate an unused, standard one-gallon paint can.

Submissions for the contest will be displayed on social media. At the end of the contest, which closes Sept. 15, six “celebrity picks” will be selected by industry celebrities who will vote on their favorites. In addition, six “fan favorites” will be chosen based on the number of photo “likes” that the submissions receive on Axalta’ Instagram page. A “best-in-show” grand prize winner will also be selected from the six “celebrity picks”.
