Sept. 25, 2014—Service King Collision Repair Centers, a multi-state operator of collision repair facilities, announced on Wednesday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Car West Auto Body, a multi-shop operator in Northern California.

Car West currently operates six locations, with a seventh location opening soon. Car West said it shops can accommodate more than 1,800 vehicle repairs each month for customers in the cities of Dublin, San Jose, Santa Clara, Fremont, Yuba City and Mountain View.

"Service King Collision Repair Centers has a great reputation for taking care of people," said Craig Moe, owner of Car West Auto Body. "I am confident our customers and our employees will be well served by the sale of Car West."

The Car West Auto Body acquisition will officially close in early October.
