Sept. 26, 2014—Erica Eversman, chief counsel for Vehicle Information Services Inc., will give a presentation entitled “The New American Revolution” at the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) annual meeting on Oct. 30.

The meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn of Clark, N.J., and begin at 7 p.m.

Eversman will outline the different ways in which the national collision industry has been “fighting back against the insurance industry,” according to an AASP/NJ release. She will go over multi-district lawsuits from Mississippi, Indiana, Utah, Tennessee and Florida against multiple insurers, as well as the Louisiana Attorney General’s suit against State Farm.

Eversman is recognized nationally as a leading legal authority on these types of suits. She will outline each one of these legal actions and discuss the impact they will likely have on the collision repair industry. Also speaking on these topics will be AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant.

The registration deadline for the event is Oct. 27. The cost is $50 for members and $75 for non-member guests.

To register or to receive additional meeting information, please call Bryant at 732.922.8909 or email him at setlit4u@msn.com. For more information on AASP/NJ, please visit www.aaspnj.org.
