3M to Honor Military at SEMA Show

Oct. 21, 2016

Oct. 21, 2016—The 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division recently announced plans to feature a “Salute to Freedom” showcase at the upcoming SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nov. 1-4. The event will showcase speed shapes that feature custom-designed paint schemes honoring American military members and are painted by industry personalities such as Chip Foose, Charley Hutton and Mark Oja, among others.

The 3M Salute to Freedom speed shapes will be auctioned at SEMA to benefit the 3M Hire Our Heroes program, which gives tool grants and scholarships to veterans and family members seeking to pursue a career in the collision repair industry. SEMA attendees will have a chance to bid on the speed shapes throughout the week in early November. The auction will close at the end of Thursday’s show.
