Sept. 25, 2015—PPG Automotive Refinish is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the introduction of its OMNI refinish system, the company announced on Thursday. The OMNI system, which was introduced in 1995, offers a wide range of economical refinish products that deliver high quality results for cost-conscious collision centers.
Since its debut in 1995, the OMNI brand has expanded and improved significantly. In 2005 the OMNI Plus lineup was launched as an extension of the OMNI basecoat system and has grown to include high-strength toners, special effect pigments and diamond toners, which have all been designed to elevate the color-matching accuracy, hiding power and performance of the entire OMNI line.
The OMNI LV compliant refinish system was added in 2009 to address refinish requirements in regulated North American markets.
