PPG Releases New Multi-Panel Clearcoat

Oct. 6, 2014

Oct. 6, 2014—The PPG Automotive Refinish SHOP-LINE brand has added a Multi-Panel Clearcoat to its product line, PPG recently announced.

The new 2.1 VOC clearcoat has been developed with the goal of providing collision centers with the ability to efficiently deliver a gloss finish.

“This is another example of Shop-Line products that deliver exactly what repair centers want—in this case, an economically priced, quality 2.1 VOC clearcoat perfect for multi-panel work,” Jennifer Boros, PPG segment manager of solvent-borne brands said in a release. “We’ve made JC7100 easy to use and suitable for large jobs or where a deep gloss finish is desired. It’s an ideal example of the Shop-Line brand’s commitment to provide products that balance performance and price.”
