GoDaddy Releases Tool to Improve SEO

Nov. 18, 2015

Nov. 18, 2015—Sixty-three percent of small businesses believe that search engine optimization (SEO) is the most important tool to find their businesses online, but most small businesses do not have the time or knowledge to make sure their business is found online, according to a recent survey conducted by GoDaddy Inc.

To address this, GoDaddy has announced the release of its Search Engine Visibility tool, which will help small businesses get found on major search sites through search engine optimization.

Customers complete a step-by-step wizard that recommends SEO keywords and content based on the business type. GoDaddy’s Search Engine Visibility uses simple language that helps customers understand how to get the most out of SEO. Once a customer makes the suggested updates, GoDaddy layers these SEO changes over the customer’s website.

"So many of our customers need help with their SEO, but it's often expensive and complicated – making it out of reach for most small businesses," said Marek Olszewski, GoDaddy VP of Engineering. "The new Search Engine Visibility product was designed to make it really easy to get started with your SEO. Not only does it give customers targeted recommendations for which search phrases are most likely to drive traffic to their site, but it also makes it incredibly easy to make content changes and then to have these changes applied to a website, without requiring the customer to touch a line of code."
