Service King Collision Repair Centers Acquires Ridgeland Body Shop

Nov. 26, 2014—Service King Collision Repair Centers announced its second acquisition in as many days on Wednesday, as it acquired Ridgeland Body Shop in Ridgeland, Miss.

The deal helps Service King add a second location to the Jackson, Miss., metropolitan area. Service King, which operates more than 190 collision repair facilities nationwide, also operates a third Mississippi location in Southaven.  

“The addition of Ridgeland Body Shop further enhances our ability to provide high-quality collision repair services in the Mississippi market,” Mike Abbott, Service King regional vice president of the South Central United States said in a release. “We are thrilled to bring this strong brand and well-established business into the Service King family. We look forward to serving the city of Ridgeland and providing customers the Service King standard of excellence.”

Husband and wife team, Jerry and Joyce Wade, originally opened Ridgeland Body Shop in 1990. The facility is currently owned and operated by Joyce Wade, Joe Sedro and John Cadwallader and has the capacity to repair up to 250 vehicles per month.
