AkzoNobel Releases Color Web Application

May 31, 2016

May 31, 2016—AkzoNobel announced on Friday the release of its new color web application, MIXIT, a new way for body shops to search for and find a specific color.

“MIXIT is the first software of its kind to provide data updates in real-time, with a simple, fast and intelligent search, making it the most accurate color retrieval tool available,” says Remco Maassen van den Brink, AkzoNobel’s vehicle refinishes marketing director. “It is also the first to support searching for car makes and model names in the Chinese language.”

The web application uses a keyword search function in multiple languages that even includes suggestions. It encompasses all AkzoNobel brands including Sikens, Lesonal, Wanda, Sikkens Autocoat BT and U-Tech.

The web application is continually updated and can be accessed on mobile devices and desktop computers.

The application can be accessed on the MIXIT website.
