ABRA Acquires Keenan Auto Body

May 4, 2015

May 4, 2015—ABRA Auto Body & Glass on Friday announced the acquisition of all 12 Keenan Auto Body locations in the Pennsylvania market.

The expansion establishes ABRA’s first presence in the Northeast region.

"This is a tremendous opportunity and I am excited to continue to grow the deep relationships we’ve developed in the community," said Mike LeVasseur, president and COO of Keenan Auto Body. "Our business partners and customers have been instrumental in our success and we look forward to continuing to serve them with ABRA.”

Keenan Auto Body has been a force in the Philadelphia area for more than 20 years, as LeVasseur helped the company grow from a three-shop operation in the mid-1990s to one of the regions strongest MSOs.

In recent years, Keenan Auto Body has been featured in FenderBender for its innovative internship program and its adoption of gas catalytic drying equipment.

ABRA’s president and CEO, Duane Rouse, said the outstanding leadership and operational strength that Keenan Auto Body developed over the years was a key factor in deciding to enter the Northeast region.

Details of the deal were not disclosed.
