3M, NAPA Offer ‘Thank You’ to Military with Event

May 15, 2014—3M Automotive Aftermarket Division and NAPA announced on Wednesday that they are teaming up to provide free detailing to spouses of deployed or fallen soldiers in an event to be held at Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C., on May 20.

The event is part of the 3M Hire Our Heroes Program with employees from 3M, NAPA, local body shops, and volunteers from Fayetteville Technical College providing the detailing work.

The No. 16 3M Ford Fusion race car and team members from the No. 16 team of NASCAR star Greg Biffle will be on hand to help with the vehicle projects and participate in a special “thank you” celebration rally open to all the troops on base. The “thank you” celebration feature a pit crew demonstration and Q&A with team members. 

The 3M Hire Our Heroes program, which provides scholarships and grants to deserving military members and their families interested in a career in the collision industry, will have a special tent to showcase the program.
