Jan. 16, 2012—The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) is now accepting applications for seats on its 2012 board.
WIN board members work together to foster an environment that encourages the education, recruitment, retention and networking of women in the collision repair industry. WIN said its board consists of professionals from various collision industry segments including shop owners, jobbers, suppliers, consultants, paint companies and insurance companies.
“Within a short time, the Women’s Industry Network has grown in size, produced informative and motivational events, and become a recognized industry association through volunteer efforts, industry sponsorships and the enthusiasm of the WIN membership,” said Denise Caspersen, chairwoman of the WIN nominating committee. “WIN is all volunteer. Volunteering for the WIN board is an outstanding opportunity to have a present and future influence on our industry. If you are motivated to drive the future for women in collision repair, apply for the WIN board.”
The application deadline is Feb. 24. Board applications can be submitted to WIN by mail or email. For application requirements, visit womensindustrynetwork.com.
WIN is dedicated to encouraging, developing and cultivating opportunities to attract women to collision repair, while recognizing excellence, promoting leadership, and fostering a network among the women who are shaping the industry.
