NSF Hits Parts Certification Milestones

March 9, 2015—NSF International recently announced that it has now certified more than 1,000 exterior sheet metal automotive aftermarket hoods and fenders, as well as 1,000 exterior plastic automotive aftermarket bumper covers and grills through its NSF Automotive Collision Replacement Parts Certification Program.

NSF, a global organization with 70 years of certification and testing experience, reached the recent milestones after certifying more than 500 sheet metal fenders and hoods and 600 plastic bumper covers and grills that were manufactured by Tong Yang Industry Co.

The NSF Automotive Collision Replacement Parts Certification program tests and certifies that auto collision parts—including Tong Yang’s exterior metal fenders, hoods, plastic bumper covers and grills—meet rigid quality, safety and performance standards through rigorous facility audits and parts testing.
