March 11, 2015

March 11, 2015—The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation has made a $100,000 donation to the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

GEICO’s contribution will go toward the foundation’s ability to offer grants and scholarships to career and technical schools and colleges and the students attending these schools, according to a release.

“GEICO has been a longstanding supporter and partner with the Collision Repair Education Foundation in recognizing the fact that collision school programs are in need of support in order to graduate properly trained students for industry employment,” Clark Plucinski, Collision Repair Education Foundation executive director, said in a release. “To receive this incredible donation to start off 2015 will bring our organization to another level. I cannot thank GEICO enough for the support, and would encourage other industry members to follow GEICO’s lead in working together with the Collision Repair Education Foundation.”
