WIN Names Keynote Speakers for 2014 Conference

March 4, 2014

March 4, 2014—The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) recently announced that Dr. Verna Cornelia Price and Colette Carlson will be the featured keynote speakers during the organization’s 2014 Educational Conference, which will take place May 5–7 at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego.

Price—a renowned author, motivational speaker, executive coach and educator—will offer a presentation titled, “The Power of You.” WIN said the presentation will focus on the subject of personal power, and how that impacts the people in attendees’ personal and work lives. Price will explain how conference attendees can use their personal power as an asset when working with people.

Carlson, a business communication and motivational expert, will deliver a presentation titled, “The Hard, Cold Truth – Working Hard Isn’t Working.” WIN said the presentation will help conference attendees tactfully communicate successes, cultivate connections and develop strategic relationships.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity for Dr. Price and Ms. Carlson to address the WIN members at this year's Educational Conference,” said Jessica Rob, co-chair of WIN’s Conference Planning Committee. “Their messages are in alignment with WIN’s mission; their presentations focus on personal power, masterful communication, change and positivity in the workplace."

WIN’s 2014 Educational Conference will feature additional programming that will cover other business issues in the collision repair industry, such as sustainability, negotiation and interpersonal skills. WIN will also host a gala dinner during the event to present this year’s Most Influential Women (MIW) awards, which recognizes women in the collision repair industry who have become outstanding business and civic leaders.

WIN said registration for the 2014 Educational Conference will open this month.
