Safe Drive Systems Launches Anti-Collision Technology in U.S.

March 6, 2014

March 6, 2014—Safe Drive Systems, a developer and distributor of advanced auto safety technologies, has introduced its anti-collision radar systems to the U.S. automotive aftermarket, the company announced Thursday.

Safe Drive Systems’ advanced collision prevention technology includes two new systems that are designed to help drivers stay alert and protected during travel—the Premier System and Premier Plus System.

Safe Drive Systems said its Premier System includes a forward collision warning that uses advanced radar technology to monitor drivers’ distance from vehicles and bicycles on the road. The system notifies drivers with audio and visual alerts when approaching another vehicle.

In addition to the collision prevention system in the Premier System, Safe Drive Systems said its Premier Plus System includes a lane departure camera. The system provides real-time monitoring and analysis of traffic conditions on the road, and warns drivers with audio and visual alerts when the vehicle begins to stray from its lane without signaling.

Safe Drive Systems said the technologies help prevent head-on collisions, lateral impact collisions and lane departures due to distracted or drowsy driving. The company’s anti-collision systems are available for installation nationwide, and compatible with most vehicle models manufactured after 2000.

"Our overall mission is to prevent injuries and save lives through collision prevention, and we believe that this kind of anti-collision system should be available to everyone," said Rona Aharonson, CEO of Safe Drive Systems. "Our team of engineers is dedicated to providing luxury-quality, reliable collision prevention technology that is affordable and easy to use—no matter what kind of vehicle you drive."
