ASA to Host Webinar on U.S. DOL Overtime Rule

June 7, 2016—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announced Friday that it will host a webinar, June 15 from 1–2 p.m., to discuss the implications for collision shops of the U.S. Department of Labor’s recent rule on overtime

The recent rule updated the regulations governing which employees are entitled to the Fair Labor Standards Act’s minimum wage and overtime pay protections. 

Webinar presenters will include: 

Farrington will discuss the new regulation and field questions during the webinar. Amberson, a FenderBender columnist, will discuss the effect of the new regulation on collision repair shops, while Cushman will discuss the regulation’s effect on mechanical repair shops.
