Registration Open for 2014 I-CAR Conference

June 3, 2014—I-CAR announced Tuesday that registration is now open for the 2014 I-CAR Conference, which will be held July 30 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, as part of Industry Week.

The conference will feature John McElroy, the host of Autoline Daily and Autoline This Week, as moderator.

Speakers will include representatives from Ford Motor Company, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Steel Market Development Institute, Alcoa, University of Michigan, and Robert Bosch LLC, among others.

Key topics will include:

  • Ford: A high impact session covering OEM strategies related to CAFE, details on the new aluminum F-150, and Ford’s enhanced Collision Repair Service Strategy
  • Lightweighting: Advancements and trends in Carbon Fiber, Advanced Steels, Aluminum
  • The Changing DNA of the Vehicle: Reinventing the Automobile
  • Advanced Electronics, Communications and Safety:  Vehicle Wide Driver Safety Systems: V2X Deployment, and how Vehicle Data will reshape our industry

The admission price through June 14 is $250, and all I-CAR Conference attendees will receive a free pass to the 2014 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference, also being held at the Cobo Center on July 31–Aug. 1.
