ABRA Buys 12 True Quality Collision Centers

June 30, 2014

June 30, 2014—ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced June 27 that it purchased all 12 True Quality Collision Centers in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, and Bloomington, Ind.

The move is part of ABRA’s “aggressive national growth strategy,” according to a company release, and marks ABRA’s first step into Ohio. The company now runs 229 shops in 18 states.

“Our growth strategy is on target and progressing as planned,” said Duane Rouse, ABRA’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are delighted to enter the Ohio market while expanding our presence in Indiana. We look forward to serving our customers and business partners in this region of the country.”

The purchase comes just after sources confirmed last week that ABRA is currently up for sale by Palladium Equity Partners, which has owned the company since 2011. Other private-equity firms are among those interested in buying ABRA.
