The courses will combine classroom and shop demonstration time providing students with guidance on proper product selection and application to maximize shop productivity.

“We are very excited about offering Matrix customers the opportunity to come and learn ways to sharpen their skills and reach greater levels of productivity,” said Bill Warner, technical training manager.

Designed with attendees in mind, classes are conducted in the training facility located at Quest Automotive Products headquarters in Massillon, Ohio. This “state-of-the-art facility” is supplied with the latest tools and equipment for hands-on learning.

Classes include:

  • Jobber Product: a two-day training course designed to educate Jobber personnel about the complete line of Matrix System refinish products.
  • Painter Product Certification: a two-day course which gives the student an overview of the entire Matrix System product offering.
  • Color Theory: a one-day course that will teach the student fundamentals of visual color match and how to adjust color for a blend-able match.

The two-day sessions are free of charge with all training materials, meals, and personal protection equipment included. Those interested in attending should contact the local area sales manager for more details about the courses. Classes will begin March 2014.
