Jan. 21, 2016—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota (AASP-MN) raised $8,500 during its 2016 fundraising campaign to support the AASP-MN Automotive Education Fund.

Most of the money raised came from AASP-MN’s 14th annual Race for Automotive Education, held Jan. 12 and 13 at ProKart Indoors in Burnsville, Minn. The money raised will fund scholarships for automotive students enrolled in National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified mechanical and collision repair programs in Minnesota.

More than 100 racers participated in the two-night event. Twenty-two teams of mechanical and collision repair shops and industry suppliers were represented and the competition was fierce.

Runner-Up – St. Anthony Mobil, St. Anthony

Wednesday, Jan. 13

1st Place – LaMettry’s Collision Team #1, Richfield
