SCRS Launches News Site

Jan. 16, 2015

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan. 16, 2015—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) announced the launch of a news site, repairerdrivennews.com, during the Collision Industry Conference in Palm Springs, Calif.

Developed with funds from SCRS education programs and other events, the site's intent is to summarize news stories from around the industry and make articles written on a broader scale more relevant for repairers, said SCRS Executive Director Aaron Schulenburg. He said he expects the site to complement existing news resources.

“It features stories from a variety of different topics and from around different places,” he said. “We have a great editorial content director in place who is writing really good summarizations that try to boil down the stories and articles to bring them into focus for the collision repairer.”

Schulenburg said an app will eventually be available for the site.
