Penske Opens Philadelphia Collision Repair Center

Jan. 15, 2015

Jan. 15, 2015—Penske Truck Leasing has added a new truck collision repair center in the Philadelphia suburb of Fairless Hills, Pa.

The 14,000-square-foot building is located at 225 Newbold Road, and it is Penske's second repair center in the Keystone State, and the 18th in the U.S.

The facility serves the needs of Penske's truck fleet and contract customers, as well as commercial truck fleets.

The center does collision, box and trailer repairs, complete vehicle refinishing, and frame and alignment work for commercial trucks and vehicles.

Penske is expected to hire a nine-person staff: six technicians and three administrative positions.

"Prior to opening this location, Penske vehicles, and those of our customers, were being serviced from our repair centers in Reading, Pa, and East Hartford, Conn," Jack Gallagher, senior vice president – Northeast Region for Penske Truck Leasing, said in a release. "We're now in the perfect position to attain new business in the Philadelphia and metro New York areas."
