Houston shop named 2010 Lexus-certified facility of the year

April 19, 2011

April 19, 2011 — Northside Lexus, based in Houston, was selected from 180 shops as the recipient of the Toyota/Lexus Certified Collision Center of the Year Award, the dealership’s paint supplier, PPG, announced Tuesday.

“This honor goes to the dealer that best exemplifies the spirit of certification,” said Roger Foss, national field support manager for Toyota Motor Sales. Foss presented the award at a banquet last month. “All 180 dealers were evaluated on a point system based on customer satisfaction, manager, estimator and technician certification, facility and equipment requirements, and benchmark achievements.”

Rob Ochoa, manager of the collision center at Northside Lexus, attributed the success to the TCCC/LCCC program, support from PPG and its MVP Business Solutions program and quality service from TASCO Auto Color, a PPG Platinum distributor.
