VeriFacts Automotive Announces Shop Category Verification

Feb. 18, 2014

February 18, 2014—VeriFacts Automotive LLC has released an updated version of its Verified Quality (VQ) program, which will now include cosmetic, structure and aluminum categories.

The third-party verification program, first released in April 2010, provides information on a facility’s technical capabilities such as equipment, materials, and technician training.

With the three new categories identified, the consumer and insurance industry can better match VeriFacts shops to the types of repairs needed after a crash. Collision shops may fall into one, two or all three categories based on VQ data collected, verified and maintained each month during unannounced visits.

More information on the program can be found online.
