Urethane Supply Company Introduces New Nitrogen Welding System

Feb. 17, 2014

February 17, 2014—Urethane Supply Company recently introduced its latest plastic welding technology, the 6058-CG Nitro Pro nitrogen welding system.

Urethane Supply Company said the new welding system simplifies operation by eliminating the need to switch back and forth between nitrogen and air during the welding process.

The system includes the 6065 Nitro Pro Nitrogen Generator, which supplies a continuous flow of high-purity nitrogen to the welder.

The company said that in order to control how much gas is used, a precision control regulator is combined with an output pressure gauge and a flow gauge. A low pressure safety switch also automatically cuts off power to the heating element if the air flow drops too low.

The system can repair plastic bumper covers, headlight housings, mounting tabs, grille bars, high-stress areas, flexible tabs and fender liners.
