CIF Gala Fundraiser Raises Record Amount

Feb. 18, 2014

February 18, 2014—The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) announced Monday that its fourth annual gala fundraiser held in Palm Springs, Calif., exceeded previous money-raising efforts, netting the foundation $32,000.

"We could not have done this without the help of those who donated silent auction items and sponsored the event,” said Cheryl Boswell, CIF’s treasurer. “We are excited about the momentum we are building and being able to help more collision professionals in the future."

About 100 people showed up to the January event. They participated in raffles and silent auctions to help raise money for its collision industry relief fund, a fund that helps collision repair professionals who have lost their livelihoods from a natural disaster or other catastrophe.
