Jan. 16, 2014

Jan. 16, 2014—Service King Collision Repair Centers announced Wednesday that it has acquired Las Vegas–based Collision Authority, making it the company’s first Nevada operation.

Service King, with more than 110 locations in Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and now Nevada, acquired Collision Authority's six collision repair centers in the Las Vegas–Henderson, Nev., area.

"Service King looks forward to serving the Las Vegas market's insurance community, auto dealers, and customer base with the service and high quality repairs that they expect," said Chris Anderson, market vice president for Service King. "Collision Authority is the premier provider of high quality repairs and exceptional customer service in the southern Nevada market. Starting in 1991, Michael Spears, Vicki Dessaints, and Bill Falls built a locally owned company with high integrity and values. We look forward to expanding their successful culture and operations."

With this acquisition, Service King will now operate 18 repair shops in the western United States.
