Details Released for NACE/CARS 2016

April 22, 2016—The complete conference program for the 2016 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference was revealed Thursday for the event taking place Aug. 9-13 in Anaheim, Calif. 

The program includes heavy duty programming, expanded business management training and OEM involvement, as well as various industry meetings. 

OEMs participating in NACE/CARS include Audi, BMW, FCA, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Nissan, and Toyota. OEMs will provide information on new vehicles, material and technology, how to address specific repairs, and how to become a certified shop.

A new track at both NACE and CARS will be a heavy duty track, focusing on heavy duty vehicle control systems, estimating, and developing consistent repair procedures.

Meetings will include the MSO Symposium, the Technology & Telematics Forum, the Service Repair Leadership Forum, and Young Technicians Symposium. Course topics include How Customers are Using Mobile Technology, Internet and Email Security, Catering to Today’s “Connected” Customer, Independent Shop Growth Education.
