3M Releases New Products for April

April 6, 2016

April 6, 2016—3M announced Tuesday the release of several new products launched in April, including a spray gun, filler, file sheets and flexible abrasive sheets.

3M’s Accuspray disposable atomizing heads are now available in 1.2mm, 1.3mm, 1.4mm, 1.8mm and 2.0mm heads. The Accuspray ONE, PN 16579, is the only gun needed for the new atomizing heads.

New Platinum Select Filler decreases primer used to cover micro pinholes by up to 30 percent and adheres to aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, e-coat, fiberglass and SMC.

The new Cubitron II Abrasive Discs, Wheels and Belts have 3M’s Precision-Shaped Grain technology which allows them to easily cut through metals like high-strength steel and aluminum. 3M says the new discs, wheels and belts slice cleaner and faster, stay cooler, and last twice as long as other abrasives.

Flexible Abrasive Discs and Sheets can be used by hand or machine, wet or dry. They have a softer, more comfortable feel to minimize burn-through. 3M coats them to have a longer life and to be easily wiped clean. Abrasive Hookit Sheets and Discs are optimized for difficult to reach areas, and the Orbital Sander finishes bumpers and large panels quickly.
