Mitchell Announces Closed File Review

April 21, 2014

April 21, 2014—Mitchell recently announced the addition of Closed File Review to its WorkCenter management system, a feature that allows a claims manager to review and score how a processed claim was handled.

Close File Review also gives shops the ability to automate and configure the closed file audit process.

"Historical data is often the most important tool when improving business practices, regardless of industry," said Marcos Rivera, senior director for Mitchell. "With Closed File Review, Mitchell empowers clients to use historical data to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the insurance claims process by learning from and addressing key issues."

Closed File Review also allows managers to create customized reviews among a specified set of files, audit claims and score each file individually or together. Most notably, this addition to the WorkCenter solution increases accuracy in the long term and improves what was once a manual, inefficient practice into an automated, streamlined review process.
