I-CAR Offers Training ‘Bundle’

April 16, 2014

April 16, 2014—I-CAR will offer two new “training bundles” for its Intro to Collision Repair Series, helping industry professionals tailor the training to meet their desired career paths. The two bundles are separated for the insurance and collision repair segments.

“Providing staff with foundational knowledge on the repair process can have a positive impact on everyone involved—from the customer, to the repairer or insurer, to the business,” Elise Quadrozzi, I-CAR director of Segment Development – Insurance.

According to an I-CAR release, the Intro to Collision Repair Series provides “a foundational understanding of critical business processes” for collision repair and insurance businesses. That includes vehicle parts and terminology, reading damage reports, and repair and refinishing processes. The courses are designed for professionals working in roles such as entry-level claims adjusters, call center staff, front office support, career and technical school students, among others.

Quadrozzi explained, “When your entire staff is trained, they can work together more productively, which can directly impact KPI’s and CSI scores.”

Both training bundles are comprised of eight of the most commonly taken courses by the insurance and collision repair segments and include one of I-CAR’s most popular courses at no cost.

Each online course takes approximately one hour to complete and is available on-demand. There is no expiration date once the bundle has been purchased and courses are available for viewing anytime in the myI-CAR account.
