ACD Releases New ‘Self(ie) Service’ Feature for AutoLink

April 14, 2014

April 14, 2014—AutoClaims Direct (ACD) announced on Friday a new mobile application feature built into its AutoLink auto claims technology.

Self(ie) Service is a self-service solution for collision repairers, insurers and policyholders, with the purpose of sending pictures and vehicle-damage information. The application uploads the information directly into AutoLink.

“Anyone who already knows how to text and take a picture can use it,” ACD president and CEO Ernie Bray said. “It will drastically improve accuracy, cycle time and customer service. … We are simply leveraging the backbone of our existing software and adding this additional feature to make it better.”

For more information on the app is available through the ACD website.
