Oct. 29, 2012

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 29, 2012—Ingersoll Rand will give one shop technician a selection of its new IQ Series cordless and MAX Series pneumatic tools in its “Extreme Toolbox Overhaul” giveaway at SEMA this week.

To be eligible, repairers need to stop by the Ingersoll Rand booth (No., 10149) to register during trade show hours Tuesday through Friday. One grand prize winner will be chosen at random at 4 p.m. on Friday. There will also be a runner-up prize, as well.

In addition to the drawing, Ingersoll Rand will debut its new line of IQ Series tools at the show, including a 3/8’’ cordless impact wrench, task light and drill driver.

All of its tools in the cordless IQ Series are powered by “advanced lithium-ion technology,” a press release_notes said. The batteries are meant to provide a high charge capacity and “low internal impedance for maximum battery drive.”
