June 1, 2012—ABRA Auto Body & Glass on Thursday opened a new franchise collision repair location in Durham, N.C.

“We are delighted to expand our presence in the North Carolina market. Our long-term growth plans are taking shape and we’re looking forward to serving the Durham community,” said Mark Wahlin, ABRA’s vice president of franchise development.

ABRA’s new 12,000-square-foot facility is the company’s 41st independently owned franchise location. With 83 company owned repair centers, ABRA now operates a total of 124 collision repair centers throughout 12 U.S. states.

“Our increased presence in the North Carolina market is in line with our strategy to accelerate national growth in 2012,” said Duane Rouse, president and CEO of ABRA. “Opening this repair center furthers our mission of becoming the best auto body and glass company in America by meeting the needs of vehicle owners and insurance partners in the community.”
