CCC webinar series to address industry trends

March 28, 2012—CCC Information Services Inc. will host a three-part webinar series in April that addresses current trends for the automotive claims and collision repair industry.

CCC’s webinar series will review findings from its 2012 Crash Course Report, and offer insights on the business impact for collision repairers and insurers to help them remain competitive. Topics covered by the webinar series will include how world events, new technologies and consumer trends are affecting collision repair and total loss costs.

CCC said each webinar within the series, which will be hosted by the company’s lead analyst Susanna Gotsch, will focus on a set of interconnected trends and the potential impact on collision repair business performance. Specific webinar dates and topics include the following:

• Anatomy of a Total Loss: A discussion on the key drivers for rising total loss frequency and the impact on repairability will be held April 3 at 2 p.m. CDT.

• Data—Moving Beyond Data-driven Insights: A discussion how to apply data to predict claims outcomes for optimal claims management and improved CSI will be held April 11 at 2 p.m. CDT.
• Consumer Preferences and Expectations: A discussion on the immediate and longer-term impact of a changing vehicle population for the auto claims and collision repair industries will be held April 16 at 2 p.m. CDT.
