Sherwin-Williams announces 2012 Q2 training schedule

Feb. 2, 2012—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes on Thursday released the schedule for its 2012 second quarter training sessions, which will be held March 20 through June 28.

Sherwin-Williams said the courses are designed for collision repair industry professionals seeking advancement and increased knowledge in their field. Shop owners, managers and painters are able to learn business-building, production-excellence and application techniques.

The courses, which are taught using classroom, web and hands-on tactics, will be held at Sherwin-Williams’ training centers throughout the United States. Sherwin-Williams said it will offer the following courses during the second quarter of 2012:

• Estimating solutions for profit
• Painter certification
• Color adjustment and blending
• AWX waterborne systems

Rod Habel, director of training operations for Sherwin-Williams, said the courses will help customers with lean thinking by introducing concepts that support sustainable practices.
